Low Cal Tequila Drink

CD review "Berlin Calling" and "The Annual 2011"

time again is the desire to buy befallen me, and I have I bought new CD's. Recently, the incidence is greater for me. I am suddenly willing to spend money on music that I had previously downloaded only, but I could even buy on the iTunes Store, I get there but no booklet, no cover gutaussieht the right and gives one the feeling of something tangible. That is why I buy CD's right and to the artists to help me like it.
Berlin Calling Soundtrack
The movie "Berlin Calling" with Paul Kalkbrenner in the main role Gesammtkunstwerk from photos, music and history. The Berlin DJ Icarus (played by Paul Kalkbrenner) is nearing his first album, but instead of working he is celebrating on drugs by the Berlin club scene, until he eventually has a complete crash. Then he is placed in a psychiatric clinic where he is to fight his addiction, but the only "normal" next to schizophrenics and autistics, he tried to continue working on his album, bringing in the hospital routine into chaos. The film shows not only the work of DJ's the dark side of the disco scene with her drug use and how the external pressure combined with drugs in a dangerous mixture.
The whole film is the music of Paul Calf Renner backed by the experienced its Germany-wide breakthrough and together with his brother Fritz (also DJ) the summer hit "Sky and Sand", produced by the film that was really successful, and Paul Kalkbrenner one of the most sought after DJ's German made. Besides the aforementioned "Sky and Sand" is on the album more chilled songs like Aaron. Also perfect for a relaxed Sunday morning in the day to start is the song "Azure" the haste with a clear 4 / 4 time and slow bass nothing. Generally the album is rather quiet, minimalist and relaxed. It is perfect to relax or enjoy the sunrise or sunset. It's a little rough at this title as "Castenets" and "Gebrünn Gebrünn" to and to dance is something. At "Square" and "Bengang" you can feel the drive which beat in the neck of one persuaded the feet and arms moving rhythmically and easily loszutanzen. Even "Old Kamuffel" is one of the funny songs next to a title awarded for dancing are appropriate. A special feature of the song "Train" dar. In the film, so to speak live as a result of the song is not for nothing called that. He begins with the closing sound of the Berlin S-Bahn and processes this remixed and with some technical details to a song which would have been expected. Although one at any time know where the sound comes forget its original meaning and begins to wonder why it no one has anticipated.
The album is also without the film a must-have for tech lovers and the movie is a must for any disco-goers.

The Annual 2011 (UK version)
As each year comes at the beginning of the year (or a few weeks earlier), the annual preview in house music out. The Annual is for over 15 years a fixture in the range of ministry of sound and this year the London label has once again put together an excellent compilation. In this package are three CDs on which stars such as David Guetta, Swe House Mafia, Tiesto, Armand van Helden, Eric Prydz and Yolanda are Be Cool it. Moreover, the newcomers by Example with three songs on each CD are represented once, and thus heard more than one time (unfortunately, the guys in this country still quite unknown).
, starting on CD1 makes Tim Hill with "Seek Bromance," which is catchy and it followed by other hits such as "Stereo Love" (but not by Edward Maya but PJ and Velvet) "In the Air" (feat in Axwell Remix) by TV Rock. Rudy and "kick start" of Example. Rounding out the whole of Yolanda Be Cool with "Afronuts" (in DCUP Remix).
The second CD starts right with the Club Banger of Swedish House Mafia "One" and continues in a somewhat lesser known song by Afro Jack Feat. Eva Simon's "Take Control Over". David Guetta is "Grrrr" represented only sporadically, but for Example kick with "Two Lives" (Wez Clarke in Reix). Total of the CDs give good views of the new year and give pleasure to the new publications. "Born Again" by Ricky L. Feat. M: ck and Armand van Buren's Song "Youtopia" tear one with and one gets in the mood to rock out on the dance floor.
is on CD 3, it fully to Dubstep, who took up his 2010 success wave and the 2011 will surely come more into the mainstream. Also for dubstep newcomers The Annual provides a good selection. DJ Fresh rocks with "Gold Dust", and also provides for a club atmosphere, "Hold You" by Gyptian. Again this is "Last One Standing" (in the TC Remix) by Example, but also "Iam in the House" by David Guetta Steve Aoki shot through the dubstep-mixer and "Youth Blood" by Little Jinder give the last of the three CDs that certain something. Towards the end of the hook with "RU Ready" by Drumsound & Bassline Smith, "Pain Killer" by the will Freastylers Feat. Pendulum & SirReal and "It's Bigger Than Hip-Hop UK" WTF? Dead Prez & again given the full charge of Wobble-bass.
The Annual shows many faces will be to see the 2011, while giving back what was 2010th Dubstep has become mainstream (at least in UK) and stars like Yolanda Be Cool, Swe House Mafia and Edward Maya had her breakthrough with house music in the charts.
